JUST RELEASED! The Dark: A Collection
Bianca has seen a grisly murder take place. The housekeeper was killed in cold blood when Bianca was babysitting Little Katie, the rich infant in the neighborhood on Saint Simons Island. She cannot remember the details of that night, though she saw the face of the killer. Two years later her memory is starting to come back. The killer knows that, and he shuts the lights off on her in a movie theater bathroom warning her not to tell on him. What should she do? Her memories are leading her in the direction of the young man she has come to love in the meantime, upon whom she completely depends.

But the choice is increasingly clear --- her love or  her life.

Fire and Ice: A Mystery Collection

Acts of nature themselves can seem more than a little supernatural. When Mount Saint Helen's explodes in 1980, a horrible secret is buried with the ashes that haunts the heroine years later. When Yosemite National Park floods one spring, the main character learns secrets about her family's past from the last century that she would rather not find out. And when a girl from back East moves to St. Mary, Montana near Glacier, a record snowfall prevents her from escaping when a strange woman dances and kicks in the snow, coming after her with every avalanche. Fire and Ice both spell FEAR.

It looks like an odd sort of float. But there's a note in it addressed to you. In the Pacific Northwest anything can happen and does in this collection of Linda Cargill's mysteries from the land of driftwood and sneaker waves.

Ghosts of the Lost Coast: The Pacific NW

The rocky coast of Oregon and Washington lends itself to apparitions. Something seems to move in the fog. When you reach it, it's not there. A foghorn sounds. There is no ocean nearby. In Death At The Sanctuary Grill the heroine is plagued by spooks in the haunted restaurant by the sea that her parents open. In Death On The Boardwalk the main character hears people talking and riding bikes on the boardwalk right outside her door. When she looks out the window, they vanish. In Murder At The Chapel a teenage girl discovers a ghost town in the rain forest above the high tide mark. In the Pacific Northwest more than temperatures chill the bones.

Murder On The Lost Coast: The Pacific NW:

You've often heard about the perfect place for a murder. Well, what could be more fitting than the misty, foggy, deserted coast of Oregon and Washington? The main character in The Dead Man's Rock Mystery discovers that something suspicious is taking place around the big sea stack facing the beach in front of her house. The girlfriend of The Mysterious Surfer can only wonder what happened to the dude she met at the beach party whom nobody remembered the next day. The protagonist of Murder On London Bridge finds that a school medieval banquet on this coast is a real chill when she is confronted by a creep in armor swinging an ax! And the heroine of the One Perfect Rose Mystery gets swept up in a spine-tingling adventure when a man in a mask holds her and her boyfriend at gun point along the twisty coastal highway at night.

Murder On the Nile:

In Murder on the Nile the heroines all have to deal with everything that ancient Egypt can throw at them. One heroine meets Ramses II face to face. A second must deal with the dirty tricks that King Tut has been plotting all these years. Then we have a curse --- you know, the kind that can turn everyone to stone. While perusing the book, the reader feels as if she too must battle these evil demons to keep herself from being dragged back out of the twenty-first century to the land of pharaohs and poisonous asps.

Vampire Gals

Who’s that gal that only comes out at night? She lives next door, and she’s a knockout! She might be one of the vampires in this collection of Linda Cargill’s best bloodsucker tales. In Never Kiss A Vampire a game of spin the bottle turns into a nightmare. A hurricane washes two creatures of the night ashore in Vampire Blues. A vampire rides a motorcycle in Vampire Gang. Surprising? Not in the world of the beyond that is just behind the next bend in the road.
